Learning Beyond the Classroom
Willow Hill School strongly embraces the belief that learning occurs in many different settings beyond the walls of a traditional classroom. Willow Hill offers programs that introduce students to a variety of exciting, stimulating and enriching experiences. After school activities include participating in a sport, the play, and/or clubs.
Clubs: Our clubs, sponsored by teachers, meet Monday-Thursday. Club offerings have included Homework Club, Aquarium Maintenance Club, Art Club, Theatre, Gaming Club, Adventure Club, Fitness Club, and Woodworking Club.
Community Service: Community Service is an important component of Willow Hill School’s educational program. Students participate in the organization of seasonal charitable events, national campaigns and local service projects, which have included: Coats for Kids, The Haiti Relief Fund, Boston Strong, and other current relief efforts.
School Trips: An integral part of our program is having our students participate in a number of overnight trips. Freshmen and Sophomores participate in an overnight camping trip that may include canoeing and/or hiking. Our Juniors and Seniors travel to New York City or Washington D.C. and stay for 3-5 days/nights.Please check out these links for information on additional programs:
